When life gives you lemons

If you own beautiful copper saucepans, lemons will help to restore their shine. Simply cut a lemon in half, sprinkle some salt onto it, and use it like a scouring pad. Use it the same way to cleanse and deodorise wooden chopping boards too. Daring enough to work lemon as a furniture polish? Mix one cup of olive oil with ½ cup of lemon juice to use as a nourishing wood furniture polish. For peace of mind, test in a non-conspicuous space and leave for 24 hours before cleaning the whole piece of furniture.
